Day 2 of 10 - 2019 Pacific Northwest Road Trip - Seattle

Because this was the first time any of us had been in Seattle, we decided to hop on board the tourism train. We explored the Woodland Park Zoo, marveled at the Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum, and amused over the Space Needle. This Zoo stop was the fuller part of the day, in which we wandered about a near empty Zoo full of sleepy and napping animals.

Our group had grown to 5 for the day as we invited friends to join us and with everyone in tow, we got dinner at a Cuban restaurant. Though I'm not one for touristy things, I'd generally say these spots were worth it and would recommend them to anyone venturing through the city. With quite a drive still ahead of us, we caught a ferry within 5 minutes of departure (man that was close), went across to Bainbridge Island and shot northwest to Sequim, where we stayed the night in a charming 1930s house.
